The No.1 Ladies' Detective Agency by Alexander McCall Smith
I have read a very interesting book about an African lady who has the first woman detective agency in Africa. She helps people in Botswana who come to her because, for some reason, they can't go ask the police for help. Even though it's a short book, the messages are very important. Firstly, you mustn't judge a book by its cover. Secondly, it's important that parents give some freedom to their children.Last but not least, in some cases lying is needed for the good cause. In my opinion, the most significant message of the book is that justice is more important than laws. I would recommend this book to everyone because I think it's for all ages and really easy to read.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Double Down by Jeff Kinney
I really enjoyed reading this book because there were a lot of funny and embarrassing situations. It's just perfect for relaxing after a hard day at school. Language is really simple and there are no unknown words (at least for me). I simply love Greg because he is so funny and easy to relate to. I would recommend this book to children who are younger than me. Some of my friends say this book is boring because it has no strong messages but I think the message is that nobody is perfect and everyone can have some bad days.

Not Above the Law by Richard MacAndrew
I read a crime story about a guy that likes his girl colleague, but she is dating his best friend. Now I'll let you, future readers, figure out how she died and what exactly happened after that. It's actually a pretty interesting book and I really enjoyed reading it. The story is full of plot twists and, what's more, it is fast to read and I love that! As a bonus, it doesn't have a lot of pages and sometimes you can't even guess what's going to happen next. I hope you will enjoy reading the book as much as I did! Have a nice day!
